Christina M Keller

Christina M. Keller, 85, formerly of Rockland Township, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 in Manor Care Nursing Home, Sinking Spring where she had been a patient since December 27, 2010. Prior to being a patient at Manor Care, she was a patient at the Lutheran Home at Topton and Grandview Manor, Fleetwood. She was the wife of the late Alfred E. Keller who died January 25, 1993.

Born in Red Hill, Montgomery Co., she was a daughter of the late John and Mamie (McNulty) Hildenbrand. She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood where she was a former church council member, worship and music committee member, Sunday school teacher, and choir member. Christina was employed as a nurse’s assistant at the Lutheran Home at Topton for 19 years retiring in 1988. She was a member of Fleetwood Grange No. 1839 where she received the Granger of the Year Award. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that will be missed by all her family and many dear friends.

She is survived by Daughters, Linda R. (Keller) wife of Walter J. Hess, Gettysburg, and Drena L. (Keller) Kocher, Shillington; Sons, Jerry L. Keller fiancé of Janet K., Rockland Township, and Kevin M. husband of Mary Ann (Kapp) Keller, Sinking Spring; Sister, Clara M. (Hildenbrand) Breunig, Macungie. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Tara R. Hess, Rev. Elizabeth A. Hess, Nathan F. Keller, Brian S. Keller, Natalie R. Keller, Stephanie T. Keller, and Granddaughter, Abigail L. Keller. Christina was predeceased by a brother, 2 sisters, and a half sister.

Funeral Services are Thursday, January 6, 2011, at 11:00 AM from New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, 19522. Interment in New Jerusalem Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, and Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.

The family requests contributions be made to New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
