Christiana L Ream

Christiana L. “Chrissy” Ream, 51, of Fleetwood, died Saturday, November 5, 2016, after a courageous battle against cancer. She was the wife of Michael A. Ream. They were married June 8, 1985.

Born in Horsham, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Albert F. Walters and Lieselotte D. (Schröpf) Walters-Rothrock. Chrissy was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers, where she was currently serving on the church council, was active on the Strawberry Festival, Soup Kettle and Golden Friendship Dinner Committees. Mrs. Ream was employed as a preparatory cook for Ozgoods Grill & Bar, Kutztown, for the past three years. Prior, she worked in similar capacities at Brewers Bar & Grill, West Reading, and the former Moselem Springs Inn, Fleetwood.

In addition to her Husband of 31 years, Michael, Christiana is survived by 2 Sons, Travis M. Ream, fiancé of Kayla S. Witwer, and Derrick A. Ream, both of Fleetwood. Other survivors include 2 Sisters, Anita M. (Walters) wife of Scott Carl, Breinigsville and Alayna R. (Walters) wife of Thomas J. Lynam, Lower Heidelberg Township; and 2 Brothers, Frank S. wife of Shirley L. (Adam) Walters, Kutztown, and Alan A. Walters, companion of Sharon Douglas, Blandon. There is also a Granddaughter, Isabella Nicole Ream.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10:30 AM from Hope Lutheran Church, 550 Fleetwood Road, Bowers, with Reverend Elizabeth A. Haines, officiating.  Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.  Friends may call Wednesday, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM in the church.
