Mr. Charles T. Dornblaser

Charles T. Dornblaser, 88, formerly of Mertztown, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Genesis Health Care - Laurel Center, Tilden Township. He was the widower of Mildred R. Dornblaser, who died August 27, 2004, and whom he was married to for 43 years prior to her passing.

Born in Upper Milford Twp., Lehigh Co., Charles was a son of the late Robert W. and Sarah E. (Oaks) Dornblaser. Charles was employed by Bally Case and Cooler, Bally, for many years until his retirement.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Thomas D. Dornblaser, Mertztown, and Edward G. Dornblaser,Wernersville; one grandson, Brice Dornblaser, Leesport; sisters, Shirley A. (Dornblaser) wife of Richard C. Seltzer, Allentown, and Anna Mae (Dornblaser), wife of Paul A. Fichter, Barto.

Along with his wife and parents, Charles was predeceased by a sister, Betty A. (Dornblaser) Roth, and brothers, Clarence and Russell Dornblaser.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Charles's life will be held on Monday, February, 14, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA, with The Reverend Corrine Dautrich officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately by his family.
