Charles J Biehl

Charles J. Biehl, 88, of Longswamp Township, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Betty L. (Schaller) Biehl, who died January 24, 2008.

Born in Longswamp Township, he was a son of the late Harvey S. and Carrie G. (Fisher) Biehl. He was a member of Christian Congregation Church, Mertztown. Mr. Biehl was a self-employed woodworker and the owner of Charles Biehl’s Indoor & Outdoor Furniture. Prior to that, he was employed as a laborer by the Borough of Topton for ten years. He was also a maintenance worker for Dr. William O. Muehlhauser for ten years.

Mr. Biehl is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
