Carrie M S Schucker

Carrie M. Schaeffer Schucker, 96, of the Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, and formerly of Oakhaven Road, Kutztown, died Sunday, January 15, 2006, in The Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton. She was the wife of the late Paul D. Schucker who died on January 31, 1973.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and the late Sallie S. (Hinkle) Becker. She was employed at the former Rosedale Knitting Mill, Laureldale; she was a packing forelady at the former Kutztown Wallet Company, Kutztown, from 1947 to 1953; and, she worked at the former Wenton Shoe Company, Kutztown, from 1954 to 1961. She was a member of St. John’s UCC Church, Kutztown.

She is survived by 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Son, Robert E. Schaeffer, January 08, 1998.

Funeral Services are Friday, January 20, 2006 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
