Carrie M Amig

Carrie M. Amig, 88, of Topton died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in her residence at Luther Meadows. She was the wife of the late Clarence H. Amig who died on May 10, 1991.

Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Fred C. and Stella (Miller) Hilbert. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown. She was a finisher for 16 years at the Rug Mill Manufacturing, later known as Keith Knitting Mill, Mertztown.

She is survived by Daughters, Grace H. (Johnson) Bowers, Mertztown, Debbie A. (Johnson) Stas, Emmaus; Sister, Betty A. (Hilbert) Amig, Luther Meadows; Grandchildren, Darin W. Angstadt, Michelle L. Quillman, Darvin C. Angstadt, Eric R. Stas; Great Grandchildren, Kimberly L. Moyer, Abby M. Moyer, Jenny A. Moyer, Starr Angstadt, R. Joseph Schenetzke, Daniel Angstadt, Dallas Angstadt; and Great Great Granddaughter, Savannah J. Painter. She was predeceased by Sister, Shirley R. Geisinger and Brothers, John Hilbert and Kermit Hilbert.

Funeral Services are Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.>>
