Carrie A. Keiser, 78, a resident of Luther Meadows, Topton, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident since last spring. She was the widow of Ralph Keiser who died December 8, 2004.
Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen May (Gambler) Greis. Mrs. Keiser was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis. She was also a member of the Pikeville Sportsmans Association. She was employed as a sewer for the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis, for many years. She also worked at Renningers Farmer's Market, Kutztown, at the French Fry Stand for many years. Carrie enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by Stepson, Michael T., husband of Kathy Keiser, Carlisle; Sisters, Pauline (Greis) Reinert, and Helen (Greis) Bower, both of Topton; Brother, Arthur Greis, Alburtis. There are also 4 Godchildren, Scott A. Adam, Topton, Terry L. Adam, Harrisburg, Troy A. Adam, Mertztown, and Pamela Hafer, Fleetwood; and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a Sister, Jean S. Adam, who died September 12, 2013.
Funeral Services are Monday, December 30, 2013 at 7:30 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Huff's Church Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to Huff's Union Church Memorial Fund, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
