Mrs. Carolyn B. Fegley

Carolyn B. (Eck) Fegley, 91, of Wescosville, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 in her residence. She was the widow of LeRoy P. Fegley who died on June 29, 2007 and whom she married on November 27, 1955.

Born in Topton, Carolyn was a daughter of the late Earl and Anna (Boyer) Eck. Carolyn attended cosmetology school to become a licensed beautician. She was the owner and operator of Carolyn’s Beauty Shop in Wescosville for 50 years. She was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown.

Carolyn loved to be outside taking care of her home and flowers. She also enjoyed taking her dogs for long walks and decorating for the holidays. Carolyn also loved to go shopping, especially to Boscovs. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Carolyn is survived by her four children, Jeffrey A., husband of Yolanda M. (Ferry) Fegley, Kutztown, Kathy A. (Fegley), wife of David A. Sell, Northampton, Scott L., husband of Marcella S. (Murray) Fegley, Breinigsville and Lori A. (Fegley), wife of Brian K. Yocum, Allentown; four grandchildren, Jason Fegley, Rachel Fegley, Vanessa Christman and Melissa Fegley; eight great-grandchildren, Willow Fegley, Emily Snyder, Liam Snyder, Lilyana Snyder, Lincoln Snyder, Connor Christman, Jayce Christman and Landon Schaeffler; and a sister, Deborah (Eck) Deist, Summit Hill. Along with her husband and parents, Carolyn was predeceased by a brother Jerald Eck and a sister, Betty Eck.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning, May 31, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown. Funeral services and burial in Longswamp Union Cemetery, will be private.
