Carol Musselman (Bard) Heinly, 90, of Kutztown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in her residence. She was the widow of Robert J. "Bob" Heinly, who died on November 28, 2018. Her former husband, Richard D. "Red" Adam predeceased her on May 21, 2013.
Born and raised in Kutztown, PA, Carol lived a life rich with love, dedication, and unwavering strength. She was a daughter of the late Ralph M. She served as the Treasurer and Secretary for the former Robert J. Heinly Optical Company, Inc., Reading, PA, for 14 years until her retirement in 2001. Carol was a true "Kutztonian" and was so glad to be a resident in her community. She was a very patriotic person who loved yard sales and going antiquing.
