Mrs. Carol A. Wessner

Carol A. (Reimert) Wessner, 71, of Maxatawny Township, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Michael B. Wessner, whom she married on August 19, 1992.

Born in Allentown, Carol was a daughter of the late Francis J. Finley Reimert and Belva J. (Beachel) Reimert. She was a 1967 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Carol worked as a sewing machine operator for many years at local sewing factories including the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis and T & H Fashions, Kutztown. She later worked in the food service department at Kutztown University.

Carol enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Mike, Carol is survived by her two children, Scott E., husband of Michelle L. (Afflerbach) Conrath, Kempton and Sherry M. (Conrath), wife of Shane P. Swoyer, Topton; brother, Gerald F., husband of Rosemarie (Longo) Reimert, Kutztown; and five grandsons, Nathan S. Swoyer, Dillon S. Conrath, Logan S. Swoyer, Cody R. Wolf and Joshua L. Conrath.

Along with her parents, Carol was predeceased by a brother, Rodney L. Reimert in May 2007.

A visitation for Carol will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Graveside services will be held privately in Zion Moselem Church Cemetery, Richmond Township.
