Carmen Eberly

Caren Eberly, 44, of East Main Street, Kutztown, died suddenly October 31, 2006 in her residence. She was the wife of David B. Eberly. They were married on August 8, 1990.

Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Carl and Nancy H. (Herr) Holsberger. She was a graduate of Pottstown High School in 1979 and a graduate of Kutztown University with a BS in Criminal Justice in 1983. She was a forward on the university lacrosse team and a member when they were State Champs in 1982. She was a member of the Best Mother of the World Club. She loved her children dearly, along with Hurk, and she was the neighborhood mother whose home was always open to all her sons’ friends. She was an exceptional cook known for her world famous hot wings; she was a Queen slot player; she was a #1 Philadelphia Eagles Fan; and, she was a supporter, fund raiser and member of the KYAA.

She is survived by Husband, Sons, David C. and Steven D. at home; Sister, Cris (Holsberger) wife of James Griswold, Winston-Salem, NC; Brothers, Carl Holsberger, Schenectady, NY and Leon Peters, Millersburg, PA.

Friends may call Saturday, November 4, 2006 from 10:00 to 12:00 Noon in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Private inurnment at the convenience of the family.
