Carl L. Breininger, 85, of 327 Pennsylvania Avenue, Kutztown, died Monday, March 8, 2004, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Salisbury Twp., shortly after admission. He was married to the late Margaret M. (Hollenbach) Breininger who died on May 5, 1996.
Born in Kutztown, Berks County, he was a son of the late Edwin and the late Annie (Miller) Breininger. He was a safety and floor supervisor at the former Kutztown Foundry, now McConway Torley, Kutztown, for over 40 years retiring in 1983. He was a former secretary and treasurer of the Fairview Cemetery Board, Kutztown. He was a US Army Air Force veteran of WWII. He was a member of St. John’s UCC Church, Kutztown.
He is survived by Son, Stephen C. Breininger, Kutztown; Daughter, Diane L. Breininger, Naperville, Illinois; Sister, Anna (Breininger) Kutz, Kutztown.
Memorial services are Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 7:00 PM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. There are no calling hours.
The family requests contributions to St John’s UCC Church, 257 West Walnut Street, Kutztown, 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
