Carl P. Heffner

Carl P. Heffner, 90, of Allentown, and formerly of Lower Macungie Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in Cedar Crest Post Acute Facility, Allentown. He was the widower of Joan R. (Conrad) Heffner, who died May 8, 2022, and whom he married on September 29, 1954.

Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, Carl was a son of the late Percy and Verna (Mest) Heffner. Carl was a member of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis.

Carl was employed in the maintenance department of Allentown Osteopathic Hospital, Allentown, until his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly J. Heffner, Allentown; daughter-in-law, Kathleen P. (McLaughlin) Heffner, widow of predeceased son, Jeffrey C. Heffner, Allentown; brother, Paul, husband of Elaine (Ely) Heffner, Kutztown; three grandchildren, Sara (Heffner) Melusky; Annie (Bostick) Danner; and Emily Bostick; and 4 great grandchildren, Makenzie and Madison Danner and Cameron and Finn Melusky.

In addition to his wife, parents, and son, Carl was predeceased by sisters, Betty (Heffner) Stump, Goldie (Heffner) Carl, Faye (Heffner) Barto, and Jean Heffner; and a brother, Lee Heffner.

A private graveside service to celebrate and honor Carl's life will be held at the convenience of the family in Saint John's Union Cemetery, Fogelsville.
