C. Clay Leftwich

C. Clay Leftwich, 66, of Boyertown, died on Friday, December 4, 2020, in Tower Health, Reading Hospital, West Reading. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Clement S. and Helen A. (Bleiler) Leftwich. Clay was a former member of Augustus Lutheran Church, Trappe.

Clay worked as a machinest for most of his career; then as a grounds keeper at Valley Forge National Historic Park, until his health required his retirement.

Clay is survived by a sister, Sharon L. (Leftwich), wife of Thomas R. Smith, Newtown, Bucks County. There are also two nieces: Kristen E. Smith; and Alyssa J. Smith. In addition to his parents, Clay was predeceased by a sister, Debra A. (Leftwich) Koch, who died in 2017.

Services for Clay will be private at the convenience of the family and will be held graveside in Ziegel's Church Union Cemetery, Breinigsville.
