Bruce H Nash

Bruce H. Nash, 69, of Rockland Township , died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the companion of Patricia A. (Powell) Bailey, with whom he resided .

Born in Bethlehem , he was a son of the late George Nash and May D. Remaly. Mr. Nash was a 1963 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem. He was a self employed home builder and contractor for many years in the Coopersburg and Lehigh Valley areas. Bruce was also a building inspector in Upper Saucon Township in the early 1980's. Bruce attained his private pilot's license and enjoyed flying and owning his own plane. He also was an active volunteer fire fighter and cook for over 25 years with the SE-WY-CO Fire Company, Lower Saucon Township, where he was a former Fire Chief; and Coopersburg Fire Company No. 1, Coopersburg .

He is survived by Companion, Patricia; Son, Kenneth E., husband of Tiffany L. (Powell) Nash; Daughter, Kristin E. (Nash) Fazzaro, both of Aledo, TX; and 4 Grandchildren, Cooper E. Nash, Dawson N. Nash, Kaila M. Fazzaro, and Carter A. Nash .

Services will be private at the convenience of the family .

The family requests contributions be made in Bruce's memory to SE-WY-CO Fire Company, 3621 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015 . Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
