Mr. Bradley S. Boyer

Bradley S. "Brad" Boyer, 48 of Fleetwood, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in Tower Health - Reading Hospital, West Reading. He was the loving husband of Stefanie L. (Hammaker) Boyer, whom he married on December 2. 2000.

Born in Pottstown, Brad was a son of Marvin E. and Sandra L. (Weller) Boyer, of Pottstown. He was a 1991 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, Pottstown, and attended East Stroudsburg University. Brad was employed in the Maintenance Department at East Penn Manufacturing Co., Inc., Lyons for the past 10 years. Prior to that, he worked in construction.

Brad was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and go camping. He also enjoyed his new found love of golf with his son and all things food related. He even made his own sauerkraut. Brad was a true family man.  He always put family first. Brad was the happiest when he was spending time with his family, whether it was in Walt Disney World, the beach, or at the cabin in Potter County. Brad brought so much joy and laughter to all whom he met and always had a story to tell.  He looked forward to watching the Eagles play every Sunday. He took pride in being a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, uncle and loyal friend. Brad's larger than life personality will be missed by so many, especially his family who he loved so much.

In addition to the love of his life, Stef, and his parents, Brad is survived by his son, Matthew R. Boyer, of Fleetwood; brother, Todd A., husband of Lisa (Schmoyer) Boyer, Exeter, and their children, Gabriella and Nathan Boyer; mother-in-law, Jacci (Walizer) Hammaker, Sanatoga, widow of Alan B. Hammaker, who died in 2019; sister and brother-in-law, Christy (Hammaker), wife of Jordan Herr, Potter County, and their children, Brody and Sydney Herr; and sister-in-law, Ashley Hammaker, Sanatoga.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Brad's life will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:15 a.m. in Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood (Dryville), with The Reverend Martin Milne officiating.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church.

Family was everything to Brad, especially his son Matthew. Therefore, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Brad's memory to Matthew R. Boyer, 102 S. View Road, Fleetwood, PA  19522 for his future endeavors.
