Betty M Kunkel

Betty M. Kunkel, 79, of Topton, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford. She was the wife of Willard L. Kunkel. They were married 58 years.

Born in Lowhill Township, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late John and Minnie (Hausman) Dotterer. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton, where she was a member of the WELCA. She was a keyboard assembler at Allen Organ, Macungie, for 33 years retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Virginville Grange, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lyons Fire Company and the Pennsylvania German Culture Heritage Center, Kutztown.

She is survived by Husband, Brother, Carl S. husband of Irene (Fenstermacher) Dotterer, Kempton. She was predeceased by Daughter, Carol A. Kunkel who died on September 25, 2009 and Brothers, William, Clayton, Melvin, Royden, Elwood, Fred and Norman Dotterer.

Funeral Services are Monday, December 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Trinity Lutheran Church, Home Avenue and Smith Street, Topton. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the church.
