Betty Jane Weaver

Betty Jane Weaver, 53, of Old Bowers Road, Maxatawny Township, died Monday, August 10, 2009 as a result of a bicycle and vehicle accident in Longswamp Township. She was the wife of Daniel R. Weaver. They were married on October 28, 1976.

Born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of late Menno W. Snyder and the late Edna W. (Nolt) Snyder Weaver. She was a member of the Groffdale Conference of Mennonites and attended Fleetwood Mennonite Church, Fleetwood. She was a quilter and worked at the Parochial School, Fleetwood, assisting in their annual quilt auction and working in the office.

Weaver and Derek A. Weaver. She was predeceased by Son, David Alan on August 1, 2005.

Funeral Services are Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 8:45 AM from her late residence, Old Bowers Road, Mertztown, with services continuing at 9:30 AM in Fleetwood Mennonite Church, Fleetwood. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 1:30 to 4:30 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in her late residence. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
