Benjamin J Saikowskie

Benjamin J. Saikowskie, age 86, of Kutztown, PA, died Sunday, April 13, 2003 in the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Reading. He was the husband of the late Sophie M. (Sleece) Saikowskie.

Born in New York City, he was a son of the late Peter and Stella M. Saikowskie. He was a presser for the former Bernie Sportswear, Passaic, N.J. for 40 years before retiring in 1981. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by Daughter, Madelene M. Petty of Reading; Brother, Al E. of Wichita Falls, Texas; Sister, Josephine Romanchick of Garfield, N.J.; 4 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Services are private. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown.
