Barry L Moyer

Barry L. Moyer, 53, of Linden Road, Mertztown, (Longswamp Township) PA, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit, Lehigh Valley Hospital, 17 ^th and Chew Streets, Allentown, where he was admitted on October 12 ^th from the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where he had been a patient since being stricken at work on October 7 ^th . He was the husband of Carol A. (Moll) Moyer. They were married 33 years last December 26 ^th .

Born in West Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Steward E. and the late Marie M. (Bauer) Moyer. He was a supervisor in the smelter department at East Penn Manufacturing, Lyons, for the past 14 years. Prior to that he was a line assembler at Mack Trucks, Macungie, for 14 years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown.

He is survived by Wife, Sons, Scott A. Moyer, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), Corey L. Moyer, Wayne, PA (Upper Marion Twp., Montgomery County); Daughter, Kimberly S. Moyer, at home; Brothers, Steward Moyer, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), Kenneth Moyer, Kutztown (Maxatawny Twp.), David Moyer, Mohrsville (Tilden Twp.); Sisters, Ruth (Moyer) Radcliffe, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), Barbara (Moyer) Schmoyer, Bechtelsville, Patrica (Moyer) Stump, Kutztown (Maxatawny Twp.), Sharon (Moyer) Danenhower, Kutztown (Greenwich Twp.), Cynthia (Moyer) Romig, Alburtis; 2 Granddaughters. He was predeceased by a sister, Joan (Moyer) Esterly.

Memorial Services are Sunday, October 17, 2004 at 7:30 PM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Private inurnment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Sunday from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.

The family requests contributions to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S.12 ^th Street, Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
