Barbara Ann C Landis

Barbara Ann C. (Meitzler) Landis, 66, of Macungie, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 in the In-patient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Donald D. Landis, Jr. They were married February 1, 1964.

Born in Alburtis, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late John Weller and the late Pearl A. Meitzler. Mrs. Landis was employed as a laborer by Cintas Corporation, working at their Emmaus location for over 20 years, retiring in 2012. Prior to that, she was employed as an assembler by the former Square D Corporation, Emmaus for over 20 years. Barbara Ann enjoyed playing bingo, traveling to the casino, shopping, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by Husband; Daughter, Lisa A. (Landis), wife of Gregory P. Koch, Fleetwood; Sisters, Mary, wife of Kenneth Smith, Fleetwood, Nancy Buskirk, Whitehall, Audrey, wife of David Schaffer, Emmaus, Brenda Sabol, Alburtis; Brothers, Ronald Weller, Mertztown, Barry Meitzler, last known residence in New Jersey, Gene Meitzler, Macungie, Jeffery Meitzler, Orefield. She was predeceased by a Sister, Gloria Meitzler; and a Brother, Richard Fry.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 5:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
