Audrey M Gougler

Audrey M. (Maurer) Gaugler, 85, formerly of Kempton, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Buehrle Center, on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Richard C. Gougler, Sr., who died February 29, 2008.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James R. and Alma W. (Stauffer) Maurer.  Mrs. Gougler was employed as a secretary to the principal of Kutztown Area Junior High School, Kutztown, for 30 years, until her retirement in 1991.

She is survived by Daughter, Dr. Judy A. (Gougler), wife of Dennis Schmalstig, Winter Park,  FL, and Son, Richard C. Gougler, Jr., Pine, Colorado. Other survivors include 2 Grandchildren, Annie Schmalstig and Alan Schmalstig.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Carl R. Schmoyer, officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call Monday evening, April 6, 2015, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
