Asher J Treichler

Asher J. Treichler, age 94, 1046 Long Lane Road, (Greenwich Twp.) Kutztown, PA, died Friday, June 6, 2003 in his home. He was the husband of Eva R. (Schlegel) Treichler, they were married 72 years last June 28 ^th.

Born in Montgomery County, PA, he was the Son of the late William J. and the late Christiana (Jacob) Treichler. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown. He was a crane operator for the Kutztown Foundary for 48 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Kutztown Fire Company, the Lyons Fire Company, a board member of Fereinicht Deitch Fulk, and a member of the Virginville Grange for 58 years.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Feryl J. Treichler of Kutztown, Lamar L. "Teeny" Treichler of Kutztown, PA and Larry D. Treichler of Mertztown, PA; 4 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 2:00 PM from St. John's Lutheran Church, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Tuesday, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the church.
