Mr. Arthur Lockwood

Arthur Lockwood, 78, of Kutztown, passed away on Thursday morning, December 23, 2021, after a brief stay in the hospital. He was the widower of Jennifer L. (Carse) Lockwood.

He was born August 12, 1943, in Gilbertsville, PA, and was a son of the late Arthur, Sr., and Mary (Keeley) Alting Lockwood.

He was a U.S. Army veteran from 1965 to 1967, serving in Germany. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Kutztown.

Arthur is survived by his daughter, Deborah A. (Lockwood), wife of The Reverend Kirk R. Marks, Stevens, Lancaster County; and a son, Scott A., husband of Jaclyn (Richman) Lockwood, Lansdale, Montgomery County. There are four grandchildren: Emily, Margaret, Sawyer, and Quinn; one brother, Albert, husband of Sally Ann (Moyer) Lockwood, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Jennifer, Arthur was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Marie; a grandson, Alexander Evan Marks; three sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services celebrating Arthur's life will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with his son-in-law, The Reverend Kirk R. Marks, officiating. Interment in Limerick Garden of Memories, Royersford. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
