Arline S Weaknecht

Arline S. Weaknecht, 91, formerly of Mertztown, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in the Lutheran Home, Topton. She was the widow of Paul Weaknecht, who died in 1975.

Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Fegley) Dankel. Mrs. Weaknecht was a 1936 graduate of Emmaus High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christian Congregation Church, Mertztown.

She is survived by Daughters, Bonita L. (Weaknecht) wife of Barry J. Boyer, Bethlehem; Son, Larry A., husband of Shirley "Sue" (Weil) Weaknecht, Mertztown; Sisters, Lucy (Dankel) Dengler, Wescosville, Ruth (Dankel) Follweiler, Emmaus and Dorothy (Dankel) Radcliffe, Mertztown; Sister-in-law, Barbara (Biery) Weaknecht, Longswamp Township. There are also 7 Grandchildren, 3 Step Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 6 Step Great Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a Daughter, Sandra (Weaknecht) Kauffman; Son, Jack Weaknecht; Grandchildren, Kerry Kauffman and Sonia Kauffman and a Brother, Charles Dankel.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, May 29, 2012, 10:30 AM from Christian Congregation Church, 318 Chestnut St., Mertztown. Interment in St. Pauls Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
