Arlene H. (Hoffman) Reichert, 89, formerly of Barto, died Friday, May 17, 2013, in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident since 2005. She was the widow of William A. Reichert, who died October 30, 2007.
Born in Hereford Township, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Maude M. (Hilbert) Hoffman. Mrs. Reichert was a sewing machine operator at the former Perkiomenville Knitting Factory, East Greenville for 27 years until her retirement in 1986.
She is survived by Daughter, Bonnie L. (Reichert) Quay, Mertztown; Son, William A., Jr., husband of Shirley A. (Rothenberger) Reichert, Blandon. Other survivors include a Sister, Lillian (Hoffman) Landis, Macungie and a Brother, Willard E. Hoffman, Macungie. There are 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Son, Allen Reichert, Sisters, Mary, Alma, Dorothy and Brothers, Leroy and Edward.
Graveside Services will be private in Huffs Church Cemetery, Rauch-Hertzog Division, Alburtis. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
