Arlan W Conrad

Arlan W. Conrad, 74, of Rockland Township, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Norma K. (Hill) Conrad.

Born in Lobachsville, he was a son of the late William M. Conrad and Edna M. (Weidner) Conrad of Mertztown. Mr. Conrad was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Rockland Township. He was a 1957 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School, Fleetwood. Mr. Conrad was employed by the former McConway and Torley, LLC., Kutztown Foundry Division, Kutztown, for 43 years, first as a tool and die maker and most recently as a pattern shop manager, retiring in 2005.

He is survived by Wife, Norma; Mother, Edna; Daughter, Regina N. (Conrad), wife of Jason S. Kohl, Mertztown; Brothers, Dale G. A., husband of Beverly A. (Barlet) Conrad and Dennis L. Conrad, both of Fleetwood.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Kutztown with Reverend Elizabeth A. Haines officiating. Interment will follow in Jacobs Union Church Cemetery, New Tripoli. Relatives and friends may call Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
