Anthony Loupos

Anthony Loupos, Jr., 75, of Bowers, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Becky J. (Kegg) Loupos, whom he married October 5, 1984 .

Born in Bethlehem , Northampton County, he was a son of the late Anthony, Sr. and Anna (Kripper) Loupos. Anthony was a member of Christ (DeLong) United Church of Christ, Bowers, where he was a member of Consistory, having served as a past president, member of the property committee and a member of the choir. He was a graduate of the former Fountain Hill High School, Bethlehem; Keystone Junior College, La Plume, Lackawanna County; and Lafayette College, Easton, where he earned Bachelor's degree in English Literature. Mr. Loupos was employed as a pharmaceutical representative by Roche Laboratories, Nutley, NJ, for 40 years until his retirement in 2008.  He was member of Bowers Lions Club where he was currently serving as treasurer, and was a past president. A member of the Faders Golf Group, he was an avid golfer .

He is survived by Wife, Becky; Son, Michael, husband of Janel (Bushman) Moyer, Ocean View, DE; Daughter, Melisa (Loupos), wife of Brian Lash; and Son, Brett Loupos, both of Shillington. Other survivors include 3 Grandchildren, Rebecca, Nicholas and James Lash, all of Shillington; a Great Grandson, Braylen Cape; a Brother, Emanuel, and his wife Joan  Loupos, Easton; Brother and Sister-in-law, Guy, husband of Debbie Aldrich, Allentown; Nephew, Brian, husband of Andrea Aldrich, Ellicott City, MD; and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a Brother, Peter Loupos in 2002 .

There will be a public viewing on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM from Christ (DeLong) United Church of Christ, 63 Old Bowers Road, Bowers, with Reverend Roger M. Ulrich, officiating. Interment will be private in Union Cemetery of Bowers. There will be additional time to greet the family following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall .

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Christ (DeLong) United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 99, Bowers, PA 19511-0099 . Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
