Anthony Lee Smith

Anthony Lee "Tony" Smith, 79, of Macungie, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the loving husband of Doris M. (Conrath) Smith, whom he married on February 2, 1957. Born in Allentown, Anthony was a son of the late Earl H. Smith and Helen B. (Bartholomew) Henry. He was a member of New Apostolic Church, Allentown. Anthony was the owner and operator of A.L.S. Contracting, Macungie, for 40 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Builder's Association for many years. He also loved farming and the outdoors.

In addition to his wife of 61 years, Doris, Anthony is survived by his three children, Lee A. Smith, companion of Susan Edeleman, Tracy A. Smith, companion of Joni Kulp, and Annette R. (Smith), wife of Dale Bartholomew, all of Macungie; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild due in November.

A funeral service to celebrate Anthony's life will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, PA with Evangelist Jeffrey Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Macungie. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
