Annie M Sterner

Annie M. Sterner, 89, of Rockland Township, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident since 2010. She was the wife of the late Robert U. C. Sterner, who died January 6, 1982.

Born in Earl Township, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Botts) Reppert. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church Spangsville. Mrs. Sterner was a member of the Rockland Rod & Gun Club, Pike Township Sportsmen’s Association and the Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She worked as a laborer at the former Stanley G. Flagg Company, Stowe for over 20 years, retiring in 1985.

She is survived by Son, Harvey R., husband of Hannelore B. (Naaf) Sterner, Mertztown; Daughters, Nancy L. (Sterner) wife of Dennis C. Kocher, Fleetwood, Patricia A. (Sterner) wife of Terry L. Fegley, Mertztown, Sandra E. (Sterner) wife of Terry L. Handelong, Mertztown; Sisters, Viola (Reppert) widow of Kenneth Moyer, Boyertown, Esther (Reppert) wife of Leonard Amole, Douglassville; 6 Grandchildren, 1 Step-Grandchild, 3 Great Grandchildren, 1 Step-Great Grandchild, and 1 Great-Great Grandson. She was pre-deceased by children, Donald E. Sterner in 1969 and Darlene L. (Sterner) Prendinger in 1996 and siblings Florence (Reppert) Bieber, Harvey and John Reppert.

Funeral Services are Friday, May 11, 2012, 1:30 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Oley Cemetery at Spangsville. Friends may call Friday, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
