Annie H Reinert

Annie H. Reinert, 103, formerly of Reading, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 in Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen IN. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Reinert who died July 6, 1973.

Born in Allentown, PA on June 12, 1907, to the late Milton and Agnes (Heffner) Herbein, Mrs. Reinert was a homemaker, a volunteer with the Salvation Army in Reading and a member of the Albright College Auxiliary. She was the oldest confirmed member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

She is survived by Son, Dr. Gerard E. Reinert & wife Patricia (Moyer) of Elkhart IN; Grandsons, Jeffrey E. Reinert & wife Amy of Goshen IN, Craig G. Reinert & wife Monica of Overland Park KS; Great Grandchildren, Angela S. & Julianne E. Reinert of Goshen IN, Jakob G. & Ryan L. Reinert of Overland Park KS. She is also survived by Nieces, Rosalie Jacques of Rockville MD, Sherry Migliore of West Grove PA; Nephew, Guerin Nester of Topton. She was predeceased by siblings, Edna DeLong & Verna Reinhard, of Lyon Station, Blanche Nester of Topton, and Homer Herbein of Fleetwood.

The Reinert family would like to thank everyone who worked in the South Unit of Greencroft for their loving care and friendship during Annie’s eight years as a resident.

Funeral Services are Saturday, November 6, at 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton, PA. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Fleetwood, PA. Friends may call Saturday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
