Annie Green

Annie (Taylor) Green, 74, of Kutztown, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township. She was the widow of Valoris T. Green who died November 13, 2003.

Born in Scotland, Great Britain, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Isabela (Owen) Taylor. Annie was a 1956 graduate of New Rochelle High School, New Rochelle, NY. She was employed as a waitress by Kutztown Rod and Gun Club, for two years, last working in 2007; prior to that, she worked as a waitress at many area restaurants, including Valentino’s Restaurant, Kutztown, Kutztown Fire Company, Tony’s Restaurant, Topton, and Skyview Diner, Krumsville. Annie was a past Queen of the Daughters of Eastern Star, Juanita Triangle Chapter, New Rochelle, NY, Kutztown Fire Company, and Kutztown Rod and Gun Club.

She is survived by Daughters, Dori-Anne Green wife of Ricky L. Hollenbach, Kutztown, Dina I. (Green) wife of Dale A. Hartzell, Coplay, Lehigh Co., Diana C. (Green) Shook, Mertztown; Sons, Darryl R. Green, with whom she resided, Derek J. husband of Ann M. (Kressley) Green, New Tripoli. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, and a Great Granddaughter. She was predeceased by a Son, Drew T. Green, who died March 15, 2008.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
