Anna Reed

Anna L. (Leibensperger) Reed, 96, formerly of Fleetwood, died Sunday, June 1, 2025, in the Buehrle Center, on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Charles D. "Chuck" Reed, who died July 29, 2010. Born in Allentown, Anna was a daughter of the late John J. and Vertie M. (Schell) Leibensperger. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Topton, and was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Class of 1947. Anna was employed as a Teller by Kutztown National Bank, First Union Bank, Kutztown, and retired from Meridian Bank, Trexlertown. She was an active member with both the Fleetwood and Topton Senior Citizens Groups, a member of Ray A. Master, Post 217, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Topton, and The Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Anna is survived by her children, John F., husband of Corliss A. (Kuzmin) Reed, Allentown, Diane L. (Reed), wife of Rex Reed, Wescosville and Jessica A. (Reed), wife of Bruce D. Franko, Mertztown, PA; four grandchildren, Stacy L. Conrad Keller, Meggan V. Kantner, Nathan D. Reed and Mitchell T. Kantner and six great-grandchildren, Kayla Keller, Brittany Noecker, Ashley Noecker, Jayden Kantner, Jaxson Kantner and Jacob Kantner; and a great-great grandson, Parker Snyder. In addition to her husband, Chuck, and parents, Anna was predeceased by her sisters, Mary J. (Leibensperger) Johnson and Sarah V. (Leibensperger) George.

A graveside service to celebrate Anna's life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Lyons Cemetery, Noble Street, Lyon Station, PA, with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn, officiating. Inurnment will follow the services.
