Anna R. Gambler, 90, of Long Lane, Kutztown, died Friday, October 24, 2008 in the In-patient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, where she was admitted Wednesday. She was the widow of Forrest J. Gambler who died in June of 1981. She was also pre-deceased by her first husband Paul E. Dey in 1939.
Born in Greenwich Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late James and Eva (Stump) Reidenauer. She was a member of Zion’s Union (Lutheran) Church, Kutztown, PA. She was employed as a seamer for 47 years at the former Leininger Knitting Mills, Lyon Station, PA, retiring in the 1980’s. She was a member of the Lyons and Kutztown Fire Company’s Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by Daughters, Janet A. (Gambler) Dannelly, Topton, Theresa K. (Gambler) wife of Dale L. Grim, Kutztown. In addition, there is a Grandson, Scott D. Saul, and 3 Step-Grandchildren, David M. Grim, Donna M. Moyer, and Dustin M. Grim. There are also 5 Step-Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA 19530. Interment will be in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
