Anna R Delong

Anna R. (Rothrock) DeLong, 92, formerly of Mertztown, died Monday, July 28, 2014, in Kutztown Manor, Inc., Kutztown, where she resided since February. She was the widow of Henry M. DeLong who died July 7, 1981 .

Born in Allentown , she was a daughter of the late Herbert F. and Sadie V. (Stoudt) Rothrock. Anna was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ, Mertztown. Mrs. DeLong worked as a housekeeper at The Lutheran Home at Topton until her retirement in 1990 .

She is survived by Daughters, Mabel E. (DeLong), wife of David F. Bittenbender, Mertztown and Sally A. (DeLong), wife of Larry B. Yokl, Fleetwood; Sons, Henry M. DeLong, Jr., address unknown, David S. DeLong, Macungie, Allen J. DeLong, Mertztown, and Kevin J. DeLong, Endicott, NY.  Other survivors include a Sister, Caroline M. (Rothrock), widow of Clarence DeLong, Trexlertown. There are also 13 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Grandson and 4 Brothers .

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 2:30 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Dr. Katherine E. Brearley, officiating. Interment will follow in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 PM in the funeral home .
