Anna M. Kutz, 76, of Maxatawny Township, died Monday, March 23, 2009 in the Kutztown Manor, Kutztown. She was the wife of George H. Kutz. They were married on May 20, 1950.
Born in Greenwich Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert H. and Mabel A. (Berger) Holben. She was a custodian at Kutztown University for 20 ½ years, worked in the snack bar at the university for the former M. W. Wood Dining Service and operated the hoagie stand at Renninger’s Market, all of Kutztown. Mrs. Kutz had memberships in the Ladies Auxiliary of both the Lyons and Kutztown Fire Companies and the Pikeville Sportsman’s Association.
She is survived by Husband, Daughters, Betty A. Kutz, at home and Sallie M. (Kutz) wife of Dennis L. Mitchell, Kutztown; Sisters, Edna M. (Holben) wife of Kendrick, Kloffel, Sr., Shoemakersville, Ruth M. (Holben) wife of Charles Spencer, Boyertown and Jean (Holben) Rhen of Arizona. She was predeceased by Sister, Lillian Ohlinger and Brother, Paul N. Holben.
Funeral Services are Friday, March 27, 2009 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
