Anna M Geisinger

Anna M. (Oswald) Geisinger, 93, formerly of Lyon Station, died Sunday, November 15, 2009 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she resided since 2005; prior to that she resided at the Caum Home, Reading for several years. She was the widow of Clarence L. Geisinger who died December 30, 1999.

Born in Lyon Station, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Katie (Kline) Oswald. She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Dryville. She worked as a machine operator at the former Fleetwood Sportswear, Fleetwood for 11 years until her retirement in 1980.

She is survived by Daughters, Roxie A. (Geisinger) wife of Lester Hilbert, Topton, Mary Jane (Geisinger) Miller, Reading, Loretta J. (Geisinger) wife of Kenneth F. Kuzan, Kutztown, Ruth S. (Geisinger) wife of William Seidel, Reading, Shirley M. (Geisinger) widow of Albert Potzman, Mertztown; Son, Merlyn L. husband of Maryann B. (Glowatsky) Geisinger, Kutztown. There are also 20 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. In addition, there is a Sister, Mary (Oswald) widow of Lester Kline, a resident at The Lutheran Home at Topton, and a Brother, Ray Oswald, Fleetwood. She was predeceased by a Daughter, Evelyn G. (Geisinger) Moser who died November 3, 2006 and a Son, Clarence M. Geisinger who died December 15, 2007.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 10:30 AM from Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Dryville. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Friends may call Wednesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
