Anna Louise Angstadt

Anna Louise (Schwoyer) Angstadt, 86, of Rockland Township, died peacefully Monday, August 5, 2024, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.  She was the widow of Dallas A. Angstadt, who died March 19, 2017.  Born in Rockland Township, Anna was a daughter of the late George A. and S. Mae (Breidegam) Schwoyer.  She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Rockland Township.  Anna was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, class of 1955.

Anna was a homemaker, and worked with her husband farming in Rockland Township.  She also worked at the former Craig's Sandwich Shop, Fleetwood for over 15 years.  Anna worked for a short period of time following her high school graduation, as a secretary for Caloric Corporation, at its former Topton location.

Anna Louise is survived by two sons: Myles G. Angstadt, Millerstown, Perry County; and Clay P., widower of Beth A. (Huff) Angstadt, Rockland Township; two Daughters: Connie M. (Angstadt), wife of Herman A. Manbeck, Womelsdorf; and Holly A. (Angstadt), wife of Glenn D. Allen, Rockland Township.  There is also a son-in-Law, Richard A. Gangawere, husband of predeceased daughter, Julie K. (Angstadt) Gangawere, Longswamp Township.  There are eight grandchildren: Anita, Crystal, Rebecca, Matthew, Andrew, Jonathan, Jordan, and Clinton; and ten great grandchildren: Wren, Wyatt, Walker, Anthony, Juliana, Courtney, Hannah, Haley, Abigail, and Annabelle.  In addition to her husband, Dallas, daughter, Julie, daughter-in-law, Beth, and parents, Anna was predeceased by her sisters, Doris (Schwoyer) Miller and Jean (Schwoyer) Oswald.

A Funeral service to honor and celebrate Anna's life will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with The Reverend Ruth F. Doty, officiating.  Interment in Union Cemetery of Bowers.  Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
