Mrs. Anna J. Curry

Anna J. (Naselli) Curry, 89, of Topton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Francis J. Curry, who died on May 4, 1994. She was born on September 25, 1934 and was one of six children to the late Nicholas and Camellia (Petroganni) Naselli.

Anna was a 1953 graduate of Hallahan High School, Philadelphia. She was employed by The Kutztown Area School District, working as a Library Assistant and Audio - Visual Assistant at Kutztown Area High School, for 22 years until her retirement in 1996. Anna served as a Vice-President for the former Topton Women's Club, and was a Den Mother for the Topton Cub Scouts. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Kutztown. Anna was an avid reader, enjoyed taking walks and loved her family dearly.

Anna is survived by her children, Steven F., husband of Diane (Angstadt) Curry, Kutztown, Raymond J. Curry, husband of Jerry Bachman, Delaware, Kathleen A. (Curry), wife of William Woodland, Kutztown, and Claire M. (Curry), wife of Thomas Reidenhour, Kutztown; four grandchildren, Nicole Curry, Jennifer (Curry) Engle, Ann Marie (Reidenhour) Hettrick, and Cole Woodland; and five great-grandchildren.

She was the beloved sister of the late Vincent Naselli, Geraldine Connolly, and her twin sister Rosemarie Gattone; and is survived by her youngest sister, Camellia Wells, and youngest brother, Nicolas Naselli. In addition to her husband, parents, and siblings, Anna was predeceased by a son, Michael J. Curry, and a grandson, Chad J. Reidenhour.

A graveside service to celebrate and honor Anna's life and burial will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Topton Union Cemetery, 6 N. Callowhill Street, Topton, PA, with Brother Marvin Mickley officiating.
