Anna H Parker

Anna H. Parker, 84, of Country Meadows, Allentown, formerly of Kutztown, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Delton M. Parker.

Born in Maxatawny Township, daughter of the late Samuel and Erma (Betz) Stettler. She was a member of the U.C.C. congregation of Zion’s Union Church, Maxatawny. Mrs. Parker graduated from Kutztown High School, Kutztown, in 1942 and Allentown Business School, Allentown. She was an accountant at A. C. Leibensperger, and Schlicher and Sons, Allentown, for many years retiring in 1991. She was a former member and president of the Kempton Lioness Club, Kempton, and a member of the County Line 4 x 4 Rough Riders.

She is survived by Son, Charles D. husband of Nadine G. (Giering) Parker, Columbus, NJ; Step Daughter, Evelyn M. (Parker) wife of John J. Long, Allentown; Brother, Samuel husband of Joan E. (Grill) Stettler, Topton; Grandchildren, Karen wife of Alvah Eckart, KimAnn wife of Joseph Sibila, Kathleen wife of James Gottschling, Jeffery Long, Deborah Sharkazy, Stephanie Stephen; and 10 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Step Daughter, Edith L. (Parker) Stephen in 2003. Funeral Services are Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Maxatawny. Friends may call Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
