Anna E Christman

Anna E. Christman, 81, of Fredericksville Rd., (Rockland Twp.), Mertztown died Saturday, May 22, 2004, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Salisbury Twp., near Allentown shortly after admission.

Born in Rockland Twp., Berks County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. and the late Lillie M. (Rothermel) Fox. She was manager and co-owner from 1940 until 1988 at the former Christman and Fox General Store, Dryville (Rockland Twp.). She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

She is survived by Son, Marion L. “Butch” Christman, North Myrtle Beach, NC; Daughters, June M. (Christman) Heller, Fleetwood, Barbara A. (Christman) Schappell, Hamburg; Brothers, Earl A. Fox, Mertztown, Henry J. Fox, Blandon, Ronald G. Fox, Mertztown; Sister, Phyllis R. Fox, Mertztown; 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, May 26, 2004, 1:30 PM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Friends may call Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
