Anna A Christman

Anna A. Christman age 90 of 1140 Noble Street, Maxatawny Township, Kutztown PA, died Saturday, April 8, 2000 at 2:44 AM in her home.

Born in Maxatawny Township, Berks County PA, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Hettie (Kieffer) Mertz. She was employed as a preparation cook by M.W. Wood Co., working in the Cafeteria at Kutztown University, Kutztown PA. She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Dryville, Rockland Township PA.

She is survived by Three Daughters, Beatrice C. (Christman), wife of Ernest C. Kohler of Centerport PA, Shirley C. (Christman) Dreibelbis of Mertztown PA and Virginia A. (Christman), wife of Eugene H. Hartline of Bowers PA; Two Sons, LeRoy W. Christman of Kutztown PA, David L. Christman at home; A Sister, Verna Mertz of Saint Petersburg FL; 17 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was Predeceased by her Daughter, Betty M. Christman, who died in 1930 and her Son, Robert H. Christman who died in 1962.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2000 at 3:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, (Rockland Township) Dryville PA. Friends may call Tuesday 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to Berks Visiting Nurses Association, 1170 Berkshire Boulevard, Wyomissing, 19610
