Anita N Hartline

Anita N. Hartline, 65, of Mertztown, died Thursday, September 6, 2012 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Raymond B. Hartline. They were married May 28, 1966.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Harold E. and Goldie L. (Heffner) Knerr. Mrs. Hartline was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ Church, Mertztown. She was a member and currently serving as vice president of Topton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Anita was also a member of Mertztown Rod & Gun Club. She had worked as a kitchen aide at Brandywine Elementary School until her retirement in 2005.

She is survived by Husband, Sons, Keith B. Hartline companion of Tyrene J. (Geist) Christman, Mertztown and Scott B. husband of Beth A. (Weller) Hartline, Alburtis. Other survivors include Sisters, Marie (Knerr) widow of Cary Conrad, North Port, Fla., Betty (Knerr) wife of Thomas Schaeffer, Allentown and Miriam (Knerr) Swoyer, Fogelsville; Brothers, Dennis Knerr, Topton and Warren husband of Gloria (Rohrbach) Knerr, Breinigsville. There are also 2 Grandsons, Colby S. and Chase B. Hartline. She was predeceased by 2 Brothers, Edward and Lee Knerr.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Private interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens. There is no public viewing.
