Alvin D Weisner

Alvin D. Weisner, 95, formerly of Kutztown died Monday, December 25, 2006 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, near Allentown where he was a patient one day. He was admitted to the hospital from Evans Retirement Center, Fleetwood where he was residing. He was the husband of the late Helen I. (Leibensperger) Weisner, who died November 13, 1977.

Born in Albany Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late George A. and Sadie J. (Bauscher) Weisner. He was a step son of the late Jenny (Bond) Hartranft. He was employed as a molder and assembler at Caloric Corporation for 38 years at its former Topton plant. He retired in 1977. Prior to working at Caloric he worked five years at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Bethlehem. He was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Kutztown.

He is survived by Daughter, Joyce F. (Weisner) Isamoyer, Kutztown; Sons, Harold G. and Raymond C. Weisner, both of Kutztown. In addition, there are 5 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson.

Funeral Services are Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 2:00 PM from Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 1343 Long Lane Road, Kutztown. Interment in Friedens Cemetery, Stony Run. Friends may call Thursday, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the church.
