Althea E Burgert

Althea E. (Miller) Burgert, 91, of Kutztown, died, Saturday, October 22, 2016, in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home, Kutztown, where she was a resident for over 2 years. She was the widow of George I. Burgert, who died May 8, 1989.

Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Minnie K. (Eisenhart) Miller.  Althea worked at the former Kutztown Shoe Company, Kutztown.

She is survived by Daughter, Faye A. (Burgert) wife of Ronald C. Kincaid, Fleetwood; Sons, Larry P. husband of Donna L. (Herber) Burgert, Kutztown and Barry G. husband of Margaret Burgert, Fleming Isle, Fla. Other survivors include 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren. In addition to her Husband and Parents, Althea was predeceased by a Son, Garry D. Burgert; a twin Sister, Dorothea (Miller) Hill; and Brothers, Lewis R. Miller and Calvin Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Kerry E. Mull, officiating. Interment will follow in Becker's Saint Peter's Cemetery, Richmond Township.  Family and friends may call Thursday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
