Althea D Snyder

Althea D. Snyder, 81, of Richmond Township, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Eldred J. Snyder, Jr., whom she married July 9, 1977.

Born in Richmond Township, she was a daughter of the late Clarence J. P. and Elda C. (Biehl) Stein. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Kutztown. Mrs. Snyder was a seamstress for the former Deisher Knitting Mills and Kutztown Sportswear, both formerly of Kutztown. Mrs. Snyder was also a volunteer at the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was a member of the Kutztown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by Husband; Sons, Joel T. Beck, Topton, Dwight B., husband of Linda (Brandt) Beck, Maxatawny; Sister, Joann (Stein), wife of Paul Yenser, Kutztown, and Brother, Feryl, husband of Jolene (Ludwig) Stein, Kutztown. She was pre-deceased by a Daughter, Melanie A. Beck in 1979.

Funeral Services are Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:30 AM in St. Johns Lutheran Church, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Sunday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, and Monday, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM in the church.
