Alma K Weaver

Alma K. Weaver, 87, of Richmond Township, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 in her home. Alma was the wife of Deacon Jason B. Weaver. They were married January 13, 1949 and would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in January.

Born in Brutus, MI., to the late Abram B. and Fannie (Kilmer) Ringler, Mrs. Weaver was a member of the Groffdale Conference of Mennonites and attended Older Order Mennonite Church, Fleetwood.

She is survived by her husband, five Daughters, Pauline R. (Weaver) wife of Ralph M. Martin, Thorp, WI., Anna R. (Weaver) wife of Rufus N. Martin, Withee, WI., Vera R. (Weaver) widow of Ernest K. Newswanger, Kutztown, Elsie R. (Weaver) wife of Daniel Z. Brubacher, Withee, WI., and Susan R. (Weaver) wife of Lester S. Martin, Withee, WI.; Sons, Daniel R. widower of Betty Jane (Snyder) Weaver, Mertztown and Eugene R. husband of Edna K. (Newswanger) Weaver, Fleetwood. Other survivors include 72 Grandchildren and 107 Great Grandchildren. There is also a Brother, Samuel K. Ringler, East Earl, and a Sister-in-law, Esther W. (Oberholtzer) wife of predeceased Brother, Amos K. Ringler. Mrs. Weaver was predeceased by Brothers, Floyd K. Ringler and Emerson K. Ringler; and Sisters, Elsie K. Ringler, Alice K. (Ringler) Newswanger, Annie K. (Ringler) Rissler, Emma K. (Ringler) Newswanger and Barbara K. (Ringler) Gehman. She was also predeceased by 3 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Friday, October 25, 2013, at 9:00 AM from her late residence, with services continuing at 9:30 AM at Old Order Mennonite Church Cemetery, Fleetwood. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in her late residence.
