Allan F Witzell

Allan F. Witzell, 52, of Emmaus, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in his residence, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Sandy J. (Miller) Witzell, whom he married on December 6, 2008.

Born in Levittown, Bucks Co., he was a son of the late Ross B. and Mary Jane (King) Witzell. Allan attended Saint Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Emmaus. He was a 1982 graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Fairless Hills, and Kutztown University. Allan was the owner and operator of Lehigh Equipment Co., Emmaus, for the past six years. He was an avid fisherman who would take every chance he had to go fishing. Allan also enjoyed golfing for various charity golf outings, and completing home improvements for himself, but most of all, he found the most gratitude in helping others with their projects.

Allan is survived by his Wife of eight years, Sandy; 2 Sons, Ryan M. Witzell, Pittsburgh, and Adam J. Witzell, Emmaus; 2 Step Children, Melissa R. (Ohlinger), wife of Doug Taylor, Macungie, and John W. Ohlinger, Jr., Fleetwood; 2 Grandchildren, Jack Fulmer and Alivia R. Kopac. He is also survived by a Brother, Doug P., husband of Roberta L. (Bidwell) Witzell, Leland, NC.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Saint Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th Street, Emmaus, with Rev. Monsignor Edward J. Coyle, Celebrant. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Burial will be private.
