Alfred A Martin

Alfred A. Martin, 92, of Kutztown and formerly of New Tripoli, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Vreeland) Martin who died on October 23, 2006.

Born in Clifton, NJ he was a son of the late Christian and Hulda (Mueller) Martin. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church, Allentown. He was a 1932 graduate of Edison Vocational School, Edison, NJ. Mr. Martin was the owner of the former Wayne’s Silk Screen Engraving, New Tripoli, for 37 years retiring in 1997.

He is survived by Daughters Elaine F. (Martin) wife of Gary B. Robertson, Breingsville, Donna R. (Martin) wife of Larry C. Fricker, Kutztown, with whom he resided; Son, Allan C. husband of Laura (Breen) Martin, Strasburg, Lancaster County; Brother, Herbert husband of Luanne Martin, Merion Station, Montgomery County; Sister, Evelyn (Martin) Roger, Robbinsville, NJ; Grandchildren, Amy Beth Martin, Todd A. Martin, Timothy B. Robertson, Lisa L. Vicari, Bethany A. Schneck, Danielle L. Fricker and Larry C. Fricker, Jr.; Great Grandchildren, Alicia M. Vicari, Alexis A. Vicari, Tyler M. Vicari, Abigail K. Robertson and Rafe Wolf.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Wednesday from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
