Albert W House

Albert W. House, 88, of Topton, formerly of Las Cruces, NM, and Carney, MD, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 in the home of his daughter, Kathy Henry, with whom he resided. He was the widower of Mary E. (Wise) House who died September 18, 2003.

Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Albert Sr. and Lillian S. (Ridgely) House. He was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown. He was a US Army Airforce veteran of World War II. He was employed as the supervisor of Maintenance for AMOCO Oil Company, at Wagner’s Point, Baltimore, MD, for 35 years until his retirement in 1979.

He is survived by Daughters, Kathy (House) wife of Ronald L. Henry, Topton, Jean S. (House) wife of Joseph W. Green, Baltimore, and Patricia A. (House) wife of J. B. Wier, Pilot Point, TX. There is also a Sister, Thelma V. (House) widow of George Quinn, Baltimore. In addition, there are 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 5, 2009, at 10:00 AM from Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Baltimore. Friends may call Thursday, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
